Eros Health Center LLC is looking for part and full-time counselors to join the team. As a member of the team, you will provide mental health counseling services to clients struggling with sexual health issues. We offer 99% online sessions with the option of in-person appointments available upon client request in our office in Birmingham AL (280 area). If you are out of the Birmingham area, we are happy with virtual only therapists through our HIPPA compliant platform.
Qualified applicants must have a working knowledge of sexual health counseling from a sex positive approach. You will receive referrals, a case load, and marketing by Eros Health Center LLC. Eros Health Center is a cash-based provider, we do not accept insurance so you will not have to worry about paneling, insurance reimbursement, or submission of claims. If you are interested in paneling, we have an option for clients to file for insurance reimbursement. Starting out you will work part-time as you develop your case load. Employees will have the opportunity to set their own hours and their own sliding scale rates if they desire.
Responsibilities:
· Establish open lines of communication for individuals with sexual health, mental health, emotional, and relationship struggles
· Offer treatment for issues like: ED, PE, Vaginismus, Pelvic pain, Desire discrepancy, Out of control sexual behavior, Sexual anxiety, Fertility, Post-partum Depression, PMDD, Consensual non-monogamy, Cancer survivors, and sexual pain
· Offer evidence-based treatments to individuals and couples
· Provide sex-positive therapy for struggling clients
· Implement and review treatment plans and diagnosis
· Screen for and provide appropriate referrals to medical providers as necessary
· Collaborate with medical providers to maintain congruent care
· Ensure all case notes are completed in a timely manner
· Develop and manage a caseload of clients
· Follow HIPPA Guidelines and maintain malpractice insurance
· Maintain up to date education on the practice of sex therapy, including 20 sex therapy CE’s annually
Qualifications
· Active Alabama License to Practice – LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
· No history of board complaints or ethical violations
· Minimum of two years previous experience in mental health counseling
· Prefer experience working with sex and sexuality
· Utilize video-telehealth appointment, scheduling, and note taking software
· Familiarity and comfort working with sexual health issues
· Ability to build rapport with clients
· Strong self-management skills
Pay ranging from
$52.50/hr – $98/hr
